LEARN MORE
Why the ROVI A3?
Four years ago we brought to life the award-winning, ROVI X3, and for the first time in their history, Motion Concepts had their very own power base. The engineering teams at ROVI and Motion Concepts worked tirelessly together in the early development phases of the X3 and since its introduction we’ve been listening. As a matter of fact, they’ve gathered feedback from ATP’s and Clinician’s across the nation. From those input sessions, the engineers got to work on the ROVI A3 to create all new power positioning solutions that achieve clinical goals and answer consumer requests.
The all new ROVI A3 combines our patented Active Ride Control suspension system and powerful 4-pole motors into a brand new power base that takes Motion Concepts power positioning to all new levels. Standard high speed motors, LED lighting, and the largest, base-contained, 3 battery option available in the industry for individuals that utilize a ventilator, are just a few of the highlights of the new ROVI A3.
Our Features
407 Maxx System
Designed exclusively for the ROVI A3 base, the simplicity of
the 407’s Single Pivot Tilt design optimizes the geometry
of the base for maximum stability while providing an
Anterior Assist at no charge. When combined with a Recline
module the Trendelenburg positioning allows the feet to be
elevated above the head to lighten the load on the heart.
• Featuring up to 40° of Posterior Tilt with 7° of Anterior Assist
• Up to 170° of Recline
• Optional LNX Power Center Mount Foot Platform or Fixed
Center Mount Legrest
• Available with the full range of Motion Concepts’ accessories and Invacare® Matrx® Seating products, mounted via our Ultra Rail and Ultra Track slotted interfaces
• Seat-to-Floor heights as low as 17"
• Up to 250 lb. weight capacity
Multi-Position Standing MAXX System
The new Multi-Position Standing System (MPSS) is an innovative, highly adjustable system combining power standing and a full range of power positioning options in a package that provides a unique combination of independence, function and accessibility.
• Up to 45° CG Tilt, 178° of Recline with Extended Shear Reduction (ESR) and 7" Seat Elevation
• 16" - 21" W x 16" - 20" D Standard Adult Sizes; Fully width and
depth adjustable
• The angle, height/depth adjustable and removable Knee Block is designed to secure the user while standing
• Available with the wide range of Motion Concepts’ accessories and Invacare® Matrx® Seating products, mounted via our Ultra Rail and Ultra Track slotted interfaces
• Reduced drive speed in Standing position
• Anti-dive locking mechanism offers additional stability and safety by locking front suspension arms as the Standing function is engaged
• When system is not in Standing position the ROVI A3’s ARC
suspension is fully functioning for maximum performance and
climbing capability
• Seat-to-Floor heights as low as 18.5"
• Up to 250 lb weight capacity
Lateral Tilt Maxx Module
Our Lateral Tilt (side to side) module is designed to complement
traditional positioning solutions such as Tilt, Recline or Tilt/Recline. This feature is effective for stabilizing the trunk, pressure reduction, client transfers, and can help alleviate digestive pressure and respiratory issues. From this laterally tilted position, users still retain the ability to tilt posteriorly and/or recline.
• Enables a Tilt, Recline or Tilt/Recline system to tilt laterally up to 15° in either direction
• Offers up to 50° of Tilt and 170° of Recline while laterally tilted
• Can be driven at reduced speed in the Lateral Tilt position while posteriorly Tilted or Tilted/Reclined up to 30° at the same time
• Built-in sensor allows the system to automatically stop when the seat is horizontal to the base (0°)
• Available with the full range of Motion Concepts’ accessories and Invacare® Matrx® Seating products, mounted via our Ultra Rail and Ultra Track slotted interfaces
• Seat-to-Floor heights as low as 19.75"
• Up to 225 lb weight capacity
UpFront Maxx Module
Our newest Ultra Low Maxx module allows people to get a bit closer to their everyday task! By thoughtfully combining a fully functioning power positioning system with 5.5" of forward shift, consumers are able to explore new ways of accessing previously difficult to reach surfaces and objects. The UpFront module also provides confidence and stability by automatically tucking the user’s feet rearward, under the front of the seat pan and locking out the front casters for peace of mind and greater flexibility. All this access is available with the durability, function and modularity you have come to expect from our entire Ultra Low Maxx line.
• Fully modular, featuring up to 45° of CG Tilt,
170° of Recline and up to 45° of Anterior Tilt
• 16" - 22" W x 16" - 23"D, fully adjustable
• Reduced drive speed in UpFront position
• Recline available from ALL positions

stability and safety by locking front suspension
arms as the UpFront function is engaged
• Available with the wide range of Motion Concepts’
accessories and Invacare® Matrx® Seating
products, mounted via our Ultra Rail and Ultra
Track slotted interfaces
